  • Activity Goals After Cancer Treatment

Did you see the mention of Plurabelle Paddlers in the Irish Independent article on activity goals after cancer treatment? You can check out the article here.

Why not give paddling a go? We’re always welcoming new paddlers who have experienced breast cancer and, best of all, you don’t need any previous experience. Find out more

  • Two Silvers and a Bronze at the Europeans!

Well, we may be over our baggage allowance with the weight of the medals we’re bringing back from France!

A huge congratulations to the Plurabelle Team who competed in the senior category at the European Crew Championships in Divonne Les Bains, France in July.

Two silver medals (2000m and 500m) and a bronze medal (200m) showed the whole of Europe that a breast cancer diagnosis could possibly be the start of a whole new sporting adventure! We’re so proud of you ladies, and congrats to the Carlow Dragons on their medal successes too! View photos

  • Western Hospitality!

Thank you to the Grainne Mhaol Dragon Boat Club in Castlebar who were such wonderful hosts to the team of Plurabelles who, at the end of July, travelled west for a bit of a paddle (0k, and a couple of good night’s out too!). Thank you!
