‘Along Home Shores’ – Plurabelles on TV!

Plurabelle Paddlers hit the small screen again at the end of October 2016 when ‘Along Home Shores’ presenter, Bobby Kerr trained with us in the first episode of the UTV Ireland programme. Bobby also visited our club house, chatted to some paddlers and found out for himself what makes the Plurabelles such a very special club.

  • Two Silvers and a Bronze at the Europeans!

Well, we may be over our baggage allowance with the weight of the medals we’re bringing back from France!

A huge congratulations to the Plurabelle Team who competed in the senior category at the European Crew Championships in Divonne Les Bains, France in July.

Two silver medals (2000m and 500m) and a bronze medal (200m) showed the whole of Europe that a breast cancer diagnosis could possibly be the start of a whole new sporting adventure! We’re so proud of you ladies, and congrats to the Carlow Dragons on their medal successes too! View photos
